I'm a junk food-aholic who keeps herself in check by training for Figure competitions! I was inspired by a fellow coworker to compete and I hope that in my competing I will inspire someone else to take control of their health and find whatever it is that makes them feel alive!

What motivates you to lead a lifestyle that is healthy and active?
What motivates you to lead a lifestyle that is healthy and active? I have an 8 year old son and it is very important to me to be a good role model for him by eating healthy foods and exercising regularly and having fun. I try to educate him to make good choices and understand what can happen when he's older if he does not make good choices. I also like to be a good example to my clients, it helps me to be more empathetic and understanding of what my clients are going through when they are trying to lose weight or make a lifestyle change, it's not easy!

What do you do for a living…when you get a break from the gym..lol?
Well, I guess this doesn't apply since I work at a gym. I'm a Personal Trainer and a Performance Coach. I'm also a full time mom!
Do you find it hard to date and/or be married when training for shows or when you lead a super healthy lifestyle?
I find it difficult to have a social life for sure but there's been an occasion or two where I actually was at a party and pulled out my protein shaker and had my shake-people actually toasted to my dedication-drinking a protein shake at a party. I never thought I'd see the day!
What goals do you want to achieve in the fitness industry?
My goal is to continue competing in Figure until I get my Pro card. I am also toying with the idea of trying bodybuilding at some natural shows. I'd also love to do some fitness modeling, I'm open to a lot!
What do you think is your best feature or bodypart? : I'd say my back and shoulders, they tend to respond to training really quickly s

My trainer Nate, husband Heath and son Brayden for being so supportive, my family for coming out to my shows and all my friends and co-workers who are constantly encouraging me during training and inquiring about how things are going
