I do my best to live life to the fullest because you never really know what tomorrow has in store for you. I believe in being happy because you only have one chance at it. I do not think it makes any sense to go through your life being unhappy. I feel that if you are unhappy the only person who can change that is yourself. Life is about making changes and if we don’t make changes we do not grow as people. Anything you can dream you can achieve. I proved this to myself the day I stepped foot on stage at my first competition.

What motivates you to lead a lifestyle that is healthy and active?
Leading a healthy lifestyle creates a balance mentally and physically. I feel that not only does training and dieting create an appealing appearance but more importantly it gives you the confidence, and strength that you need in the other aspects of your life.
Favorite cheat meal? : My favorite cheat meal is an eggplant Parmesan sandwich.
What do you do for a living…when you get a break from the gym..lol?
I am a 2nd grade teacher in Hackensack and have been for the past 4 years.
Do you find it hard to date and/or be married when training for shows or when you lead a super healthy lifestyle?
When training for shows or leading a very healthy lifestyle it can be difficult when your significant other does not share the same interests. However, if you are with a person who truly cares about you they will respect your interests and be there to support you with whatever you are doing. Personally I have not been successful in finding that person who I can share my interest in fitness with, nor have I had all that much luck finding someone who truly supports it. I have realized that I come first and if training makes me feel good and makes me happy then I will continue to stick with it and eventually that person will come along.
What goals do you want to achieve in the fitness industry?
There are a few goals that I would like to achieve. I would like to build more muscle so that I can eventually compete in the Figure Division, I would like to get my personal training certification, and I would also like to get into fitness modeling.

would like to thank my best friend, for introducing me into the “world of competing”, I was inspired last summer when I went to his first show. I would also like to thank my friends and family for their unconditional support and putting up with my crazy dieting, and at times with the changes in my mood.
