Not really into competing as I have many knee and ankle probles all snow skiing related. So I am a Road and Mountain biker that decided to enter a show. Took second in Master's 45-49 and 6th out of 12 in the Novice Hvwt.
The one ouside is the Day before.
Not bad for a bike rider. Yes my legs are not huge, but haven't been able to do much other than bike since 2000.
Good stuff... great conditioning and props to you for competing and doing very well!
I can't beleive how well I did....I mean I have been a Hard core Bike rider (3300 miles last year). Now if I had been training legs like I did in the old days....who knows how it would have turned out.

Ya never know. I did just do a 100 mile bike race though!! 5hrs 45 minutes.

Very cool I finally found someone similar to me! I am alittle older than you but was into cycling (did 10k miles one year incl a 5 gap century) until the knees just shut down now I'm tying to do the competiton thing as a grand masters My legs are the only thing keeping me from competing on a national level Getting ready for a show in 9 days after that I'm going to go into power lifting mode for a while and see if I can grow some quad sweep
I still use road cycling as my cardio 25-30 miles every day Can't climb like I used to but I still love to hammer!
