If you are hairy, I would recommend starting with an electric razor all over, and then just waxing the parts where it may be absolutely necessary.
My husband uses an electric razor on his arms, legs, and chest without any problem, and it gets plenty close. Not one of those rotary ones with the circular blades for your face (those tend to bite the skin on your arms), but the ones you use to buzz cut your hair is fine, at the closest setting.
That's what I do now on my chest, shoulders, arms, and back...it's my legs and nether areas that seem to be the problem for me

Those are the areas that even I don't dare to wax!Ouch!
I would hope that the electric razor would work just fine everywhere...
The problem is I don't like the stubble....Maybe I'll give it another go with the Wahl...
Well you have to do it alot.. my husband uses that thing pretty much every day for like 5-10 mins before he gets in the shower.
I'll have to get on it then...
do those "buzz hair trimmers" actually get the hair down to the skin or does it leave that sand paper feel.

The only place I always shave is my head, have done for years. Also use clippers in the nether regions and shave down their every now and then but was thinking of trying some imac instead of a wet shave for the v shape but not sure if I would like the pain that comes with it
depends on time and money for me, if i can i go get everything waxed, but that takes around 6-7 hours with three people on me at all times and costs me 100$(would be alot more but i know the company heads really well), right now i don't have that kinda of time or money(i spend all of mine on premium gas and food) so i use a trimmer to get it down to 1/4 inch, then use nair and shave after that
